If you enjoy a cocktail every once in a while, keep your cash out of the casino if you are going to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Clean out your pocketbook, your billfold, and leave all cash, credit cards and checks at home. Pack whatever cash you expect to spend on drinks, tips and few dollars you intend to lose and leave the rest behind.
Cynical? Not really. Just realistic. You could experience a win following a boozy night out with your acquaintances and be blessed sufficiently to hook a 25 minute roll at a smokin craps game. Keep that story because it’s as brief as it gets if you continuously consume alcohol and bet. These activities just don’t go well together.
Keeping your moolah back at the hotel might be a tiny bit excessive, but defensive actions for excessive actions is essential. If you bet to profit, then do not consume alcohol and play. If you like to blow your assets nary a concern, then drink all the no charge booze your stomach are able to handle, but do not pack plastic credit and checks to toss into the mix of chasing squanderings after your befuddled self loses everything!
Permit me to carry this one step further. Don’t drink alcohol and then hop on the web to bet in your favorite casino either. I enjoy a beverage from the comfort of my condo, but since I am linked up through Neteller, Firepay and have plastic credit in close proximity, I can’t consume alcohol and gamble.
How come? Even though I don’t consume alcohol to excess, once I drink alcohol, it’s clearly enough to blur my better judgment. I gamble, so I do not drink when gambling. If you are more of a drinker, don’t gamble at the same time. The two mix up for a ferocious, and crazy, drink.
